    Teachstone Training, LLC is hiring an Event Planner that will join our Professional Services Team to provide support in the execution of all Teachstone training events. As a growing company, we are looking for a team player, motivated by a desire to make a difference in education, and willing to work within the ebbs and flows of a dynamic, growing workplace. This energetic and experienced individual will assist with the process flow to execute on logistical tasks related to the delivery of all live training events while promoting a positive workplace dynamic with their teammates.

    Responsibilities

    • Event planning, design and production while managing all project delivery elements within time limits
    • Liaise with internal clients to identify their needs and to ensure customer satisfaction
    • Provide feedback and periodic reports to internal stakeholders
    • Propose ideas to improve provided services and event quality
    • Travel to all event locations (8-11 annually), organize facilities and manage all event details such as catering, staffing, lodging, equipment, promotional material etc
    • Cooperate with marketing and PR to promote and publicize event
    • Proactively handle any arising issues and troubleshoot any emerging problems on the event day
    • Conduct pre- and post – event evaluations and report on outcomes
    • Research market, identify event opportunities and generate interest

    Qualifications

    • Proven experience as an events planner or organizer
    • Excellent time management and communication skills
    • Ability to develop and maintain dynamic working relationships with other departments, outside agencies and the general public
    • Ability to manage multiple projects independently
    • MS Office proficiency
    • BS in Event Management or related field or equivalent experience
    • Strong customer service skills
    • Pronounced attention to detail
    • Ability to read, analyze and interpret documents
