    Responsibilities

    Teachstone Training, LLC is hiring facilitators to support online learning in a set of three courses called the CDA with CLASS. These courses prepare teachers to earn the Child Development Associate credential. We are looking for individuals with deep understanding of early childhood education and experience with online instruction, teaching, coaching, and professional training. We are looking for a team player who is passionate about the delivery of learning and motivated to make a difference in the field. This individual must be willing to work with a diverse population of students and enthusiastic about engaging with them in the digital space. Facilitators will monitor student progress, review and grade assignments, participate in online discussions, and intervene as needed to support student performance.

     

    Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to: 

    • Facilitate student progress in online courses
    • Grade assignments and monitor online discussions
    • Respond to ongoing student needs during CDA coursework
    • Communicate with Teachstone staff regarding course effectiveness

     

    Secondary responsibilities include:

    • Plan and source branded materials and supplies for trainings
    • Support monthly reporting efforts for Professional Services
    • Pre- and post-training communication with Teachstone trainers

    Qualifications

    • Master’s degree
    • Proven communication skills
    • Experience as an online instructor
    • Proficiency with word processing, spreadsheets, database software (e.g.,Microsoft Office tools)
    • Experience working with various LMS environments for online learning
    • Proficiency with Google tools (sheets, docs, etc.)
    • Experience with multimedia software
    • Excellent research skills
    • Desire to work independently, with attention to detail
    • Ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with others
