Teachstone is looking for a Channel Manager to support the Authorized CLASS Partners (ACP) program. The ACP program is a new initiative, aimed at developing strong educational trainers who can sell and deliver Teachstone CLASS-based services in the United States and internationally. The Channel Manager will be responsible for recruiting, training, and motivating partners to provide high-quality services within specified territories. As this is a new program at Teachstone, the Channel Manager will work closely with the Senior Manager of Community, playing a critical role in defining, implementing, growing, and continuously improving a successful partnership channel.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrating passion for improving child outcomes and articulating how the success of the ACP program directly relates to Teachstone’s mission and strategic growth.
  • Developing productive, professional relationships with assigned CLASS partners through recruitment, training, support, and regular communication.
  • Cultivating ongoing partnership resources, including an online community, resource library, and marketing toolkit.
  • Managing potential channel conflict with other sales channels by fostering masterful communication internally and externally, and through strict adherence to channel policies.
  • Setting up new channel partners and overseeing the onboarding process.
  • Recruiting and interviewing new partner candidates.
  • Maintaining a deep understanding of Teachstone product and services solutions.
  • Attending on-site partnership trainings and meet-ups as needed.
  • Meeting quarterly and annual activity and performance objectives.

Qualifications

  • BA, BS or equivalent
  • Sales, education, account management, or other relevant work experience
  • Strong interpersonal skills with ability to manage complex relationships with partners and colleagues
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Adept use of technology
  • Strong organizational and critical thinking skills
  • Flexible and open to shifting tasks and responsibilities as the ACP program matures
  • Enthusiastic, team-oriented person with a sense of humor
  • Driven, highly motivated, and passionate about sales and improving education
  • Open to occasional travel

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with the Classroom Assessment Scoring System (CLASS) or Teachstone products
  • Knowledge of current trends in education, particularly early childhood education
  • VARs channel management or other sales experience
  • Bilingual (English and Spanish)
